No ring tone
Problem with Cox land line, connected to Cisco modem DPQ3212. I cannot hear a ring tone on only certain local numbers. Everything else works normally. The called party phone rings normally, the phone is answered, and a normal conversation can be made. This problem occurs consistently on about 5-10%

Call Waiting
After people kept telling me my voice recorder would not pickup an unanswered telephone call, I finally tracked it down to the call waiting service. I won't bother you with the details but I have the "economy" phone plan with COX. If I change plans to remove call waiting it will COST $11 MORE A MONT

Unknown calls
I have been getting a huge amount of unknown /unavailable calls and those annoying time share vacation calls. The Nomorobo is turned on in my settings, so why are all these calls making it through to my phone? Seems kind of pointless if I am still getting all these unwanted calls.

Problems with home phone cutting in and out on a Cox line
I have had calls drop, garbled with or without a headset, and have even purchased a new phone that is DECT 6.0. The base is in close proximity to the router (just replaced it also) and modem. The phone base is about 3 feet from the router and 5 feet from the Cox modem with two other handsets in the

Caller ID Validation Does Not Work
When will the FCC mandated STIR/SHAKEN Caller ID validation protocols be operational? I know it is not operational because my phone does not display a "V" symbol for phone calls... even from my own cell phone to my VOIP phone number.
