I want to bar just one number that is using my landline number to call out on. I don't want to block all outgoing calls. Is this possible?

Two step phone number porting
I would like to try cox phone service with a new number, just to see if I like it. Can I transfer my existing number at a later date? Is there an extra fee doing that? I would keep the old service active while trying cox. I currently use cox for internet & tv only.

Over the last few days I have been inundated with "You've overpaid your utility bills so press 1 if you're a sucker" robocalls. I report every one of them to Nomorobo. All the calls come in with unverified (naturally) caller-IDs. Is there some technical reason that Cox can't implement an option that

Cannot disable nomorobo
I suspect this feature is responsible for my two-part authentication calls being disconnected when trying to access accounts. I go into phone tools and click it to shut off, but when I log back in it always is on. Every other change I make is stored but this feature will not shut off.
