Setting "Start" and "Stop" times when recording "Just This Episode." Why is it a 2-Step operation?

When recording "All Episodes" the menu allows you to select the Start and Stop times. However, when recording "Just This Episode" the option is the automatic default to the scheduled start/end times. Cox in Destin outages

Destin Florida having frequent interruptions of service since May 2024. Both TV and internet. Foreign support can’t explain causes…they just tell me how glad they are to talk to me. The increased frequency of outages is a big concern.

Is COX internet required to use apps like Netflix through the contour box?

Currently have internet, cable and phone through Cox. Going to cancel internet service over slow up speeds and data limits. If I cancel internet through Cox, then will I still be able to use apps like Netflix or Prime etc through the contour box? I can't find anywhere in settings on the contour box
