Ugh. Here we go again!
Had a stable connection for about 2 weeks after the last tech visit. Of course they identified it as a problem in the plant and not with my equipment. They traced it to a neighbor who had connected an old/defective coax cable. Today we're back to packet loss and T3 timeouts happening multiple times

Is Cox aware of a problem with their outgoing servers?
Since Friday, I have been unable to send email from Outlook from either of my Cox email accounts. No settings have changed. When I try a repair of the email account thru Outlook, it tells me the server is not responding. Can someone confirm there is a problem on Cox's side?

Cox email outage 8/4/18
Cox email outage on 8/4/18 has not fixed the problems associated with numerous email clients. SMTP no longer works with Mozilla Thunderbird. Spent the better part of 4 hours with COX Complete Care support trying to get my email working again to no avail. There solution was to use Cox Mail. Sad!

internet dropping
My internet kept dropping and after rebooting the modem and router multiple times, with no improvements,Cox sent out a technician and he removed an old filter at the backyard pedestal. Cox Webmail Server duplicated emails on Cox webmail so my quota is maxed out!
I've looked back over other people having the same issue and Cox does not answer as to why this is happening or how to prevent this from happening. I was eventually hung up on by Level 1 after 1.5 hours on the phone. So Frustrated. The only solution was "JUST" delete them. Sure, just take the next 4
