Multiple Users with Contour 2 ?
I thought Contour allowed multiple users to share the same DVR contents. That's nice, but as I recall in Contour 1, you could define more than one user (default is "Hello" user). The intent is that one ("Joe") might want to display all programs that Joe has saved (For You), and not all shows that "M

Strange Charges
Does anyone know what the "self install" charge is and how it's possible, or reasonable, for it to be $30 per service (i.e. cable tv and high speed internet)? I just received my bill for last month and it had $60 worth of charges for what appear to be me attaching a coax cable to my cable modem and

If I send an email to a cox account from my apple mail gmail account it is never received. As a test I sent a message to @cox.net from the gmail website on my laptop and it came through, so it seems it must be something associated with the app/iPad sourcing the message. Can you tell me how to correc

It's past time for Cox to offer two factor authentication options for account access, email, and online backup.
Dear Cox, Please roll out two factor authentication options for those users who care to enable it. I would like very much to turn that on for my email, online backup, and even for my account access. It would also be quite helpful for you to implement functionality to allow the end user to see where

Unable to edit a recording in progress
When using my first DVR system from COX, i was able to edit a recording already in progress to add or remove time from a recording. This was useful if i needed to add extra time to a live event or adjust a recording by a minute or two. Why does the new Whole Home DVR system not let you edit a record

IPv6 Cox speed test?
I would like to suggest Cox add IPv6 testing to their speed test. Comcast started doing it(see here), and since all markets are IPv6 now, and some people report IPv6 performance issues, I think it would be useful. Would love it the test could be build in HTML5, but I know that is unlikely.

RE: Forum still breaking
This person is trolling, their response adds nothing. Forum: Internet Forum Posted: 28 Mar 2015 Post Subject: RE: Forum still breaking Post author: JerryI would say it's simple economics. Consider how many Cox subscribers there are. And then how many people use this forum. It's just not worth the ex

Cloud backup - ~3TB+ to backup
Greetings, I am planning on using a cloud backup solution for off-site backup, but I'm concerned regarding the amount of data I need to store. The initial upload is clearly going to be quite large - around 3TB starting. I know Cox has bandwidth limits they traditionally don't enforce (including in m
