terrible latency and very inconsistent speeds. Internet unusable - oversold node? Irvine, CA
Long story short, been having latency issues for the last month - month half. Always had inconsistent speed issues ever since we got cox, but not nearly as bad as it is now.
We had a tech come out I think less than a year ago, and cleaned up all the lines. Signals are perfect. Bonding 12 channels on a SB6183 with +- 1db power levels, 39+ SNR's. Upstream power levels are around 40-42.
The ping plotter graphs are quite hilarious to look at, does the same hardwired to modem. PC is gigabit to an Asus AC-68R which throttles ICMP with merlin firmware. So that's why you see packet loss to the router.
Slow speeds earlier today which was accompanied by a spike in uncorrectables. The modem was rebooted no more than 8 hours ago.

I have a tech coming out Wednesday, but I doubt they will be able to resolve the issue on the sport, as it's most likely equipment failure upstream, or over sold node. We'll see.
Ultimate package.
