Periodic “Reset your password” requests from COX
Periodic “Reset your password” requests from COX arrive in my mailbox and I forward them to abuse@cox.net, assuming they are phishing attempts. I receive the standard response re.protecting my account. Are these actually phishing attempts and if not, what triggers thrm?

why require any upgrade from analog phone?
I have been looking over the comments in the phone forum about analog users being forced to upgrade or have their phones just cut off like that, etc. This is not right or good service and it is not an upgrade, but a downgrade to those customers to prefer to keep their analog land lines. Call history in phone tools
My call history in phone tools hasn't worked for about a month now and I'm given all different responses from Cox reps from they've opened a ticket & are escalating the problem & are working on it to it can't be fixed since I'm on the legacy platform & they're changing everything to the voice platfo

Caller ID time off by 8 minutes.
Times shown on my home phones and answering machine show the time that is about 8 minutes earlier than the time shown by NIST or WWV (the US time standards). For example, I call home at 6:20pm and the caller ID shows 6:12pm. Granted, not a huge problem, but irritating and shows as possible time serv

Excellent service at last! From Paula in Omaha, Nebraska. Called Cox 4 times to get a call intercept on our old phone number for our new forced/changed phone number This last time worked- over the course of 3+ weeks, spoke to many cust service people.

Speed Dial & Call Forwarding together???
With Century Link I was able to forward to my cell phone with a Single Digit Speed Dial number that I had previously assigned. Why doesn't Cox have this wonderful time-saving feature? Basically combining Speed Dial & Call Forwarding together???

Can I change voicemail to start with the message instead of the envelope information?
I don't often need to hear when a voicemail was received, nor the number that left the message. I would like to get straight to the message and then request envelope info if necessary. Can I make such a change? If I can't then can the support person do so? Thanks.

charges for calls to mexico
Been with cox for over 30 years; had free calls to Mexico; now I'm being charged. This happen to anyone else? I' ready to go someplace else for service. Can't even contact them.
