Cox offers very little for their customers on coax because they have no competition.

if you live in gainesville and the house you rent doesn't have access to fiber you're boned. coax for you and there is only one provider and they don't care AT ALL if your speeds drop and if you're using a 30+ year old technology for internet. they love the status quo and they have no incentive to c

I scheduled termination of service with Cox for 22 Jul 25 due to my upcoming military move. I wanted to transfer Cox to my next duty station, but they do not service that area. Unfortunately, the day I scheduled the cancellation, my internet throttled down to an unusable level except for the most ba

Turn off MAC filtering?

Just had a Cox CGM4981 installed a few weeks ago. Printer won't connect, says printer MAC may be filtered. Seen several posts about issue, but no help. Can I turn off MAC filtering? No info from Cox on how to access this setting for turning off, or for adding to a "whitelist". Can anyone help?

At first, thought it was our router, so purchased a TP-Link AX6000. Still doing the same thing. So, upgraded the router. Cox had me

YouTube and Youtube TV work fine over the same connection on a HP Microsoft laptop. Apple TV is connected via et

Data Caps

Is there ANY plan to just get rid of data caps altogether? Almost every ISP has migrated away from and abolished data caps at every speed plan in the US. Spectrum in Texas offered 500mbps with no data caps for 60$/mo. The fact that Cox dosent even extend the data cap to say: 2tb for 500mb or 4tb for
