Help with Yahoo and Outlook Transition

Yahoo server settings? Smtp/pop etc
After an experience I can only liken to a tooth extraction without novacaine I'm signed into Yahoo mail. Small victories. But now I need to configure my apps to deal with Yahoo - smtp, pop, whatever. Cox mail “easy” conversion.
I gave up on this “simple transition” from cox mail to yahoo mail. Sat on hold for hours and never got through. I am going to go with gmail tomorrow. This seamless conversion has been terrible and Cox should be ashamed.

Why does my CONTOUR UPDATE daily?
This is frustrating. I see no reason why the contour box should update every single day, each time it updates it freezes my contour box/TV. I have to reset everything. Is there something wrong with the box or is this normal? I should think an update once a week would be plenty.
