The error message talks about home WiFi, but it's the VPN that causes the problem. Fully recorded

Cox Homelife App no longer allows me to use FaceID on my iphone to log on. It will use FaceID to turn the alarm on and off but not to log on. Did the app change or do I need to uninstall and reinstall? Thanks.
