When I enter the activation code from the Paramount app it brings me to a screen that wants me to pay for a subscription. What do I need to do?

Cox Homelife App no longer allows me to use FaceID on my iphone to log on. It will use FaceID to turn the alarm on and off but not to log on. Did the app change or do I need to uninstall and reinstall? Thanks.
