Cox is blocking an IP Address for my NEW FX Luxor Light system

How to I set up the acceptation in COX to allow FX Luxor app join my network so I can run my outdoor lights by an app?  The COX router is not allowing the Amazon Web Server to see my system.  I had the same thing with our security camera and had to pay a technician to come and program the COX router so my camera system was able to be seen.  I am now adding another app that I need to see and COX is blocking technology.
