Cox Homelife App

Cox Homelife App no longer allows me to use FaceID on my iphone to log on. It will use FaceID to turn the alarm on and off but not to log on. Did the app change or do I need to uninstall and reinstall? Thanks.

Hi bettinaowens. Please go into the application settings and verify that the Face ID settings is enabled. If it is, please disable and reenable it. Thanks, Lisa, Cox Support Forums Moderator

Unfortunately, that does not help. Should I uninstall and reinstall the app? It is up to date.

Hi, there. If toggling the Face ID did not help. uninstalling and reinstalling the app might help. Did the phone recently update? If so, you can also try walking the update back. Let me know if this helps.

Deleted and reinstalled the app and now I cannot arm or disarm. It shows a disarm system mode of nothing. Plus I still cannot use faceid. Now I am totally screwed. I will not be able to use the app when I leave the house and return to disarm and will have to use my keypad. Yikes.

Deleted and reinstalled a second time and now I can use the app to arm and disarm but still no luck with logging in using faceid. I love it when apps are updated and take away features.

Understanding that you have reinstalled the app.  Please ensure that you are using the latest app version.  The current versions are 13.4 on Apple and Android devices.
