Fed up of lassos signal/boot loop

I have had more failures of Cox in two weeks than in ten years of xfinity service (regretting interstate move and lack of options here). ESPN channels

Is anyone else having problems with ESPN channels and SEC channels only. We have had the ever dreaded blue box showing up only on those channels for weeks now. My husband loves his sports and hasn't been able to watch much if any at all. This is ridiculous for the amount of money we pay every month

Contour 2 - disappointed how many features that were easily available in Record 6 are missing

Had Record 6 with 3 receivers for about 3 years. Started having audio and video skipping and freezing, so swapped to Contour 2 on advice from Cox tech. Like taking a step backwards. Another Cold Front, another outage

He we are with another cold and windy night and the cable is on the fritz again. Can the Daily Update Time feature on a Contour minibox expectantly turn on my 20 year old Samsung TV like an alarm clock at 4AM.
