I only want to use my Cox Contour remote like I always did. Now I have a new tv (Hitachi) and everything works but not the "on and off."

After I record a program, then playback and go fast forward x6, I see what I want to watch, hit play and it starts playing several seconds ahead. I believe it should back up 4-5 seconds, so I can watch want I want.

The first two episodes of Season 7 came up blank on my TV (local Arizona PBS station, channel 8/1008), and ever since the episodes that have been shown are missing from the episode list on Contour. The only episodes showing for Season 7 are Episodes 6 and 8 which have not shown yet (no Episode 7 eit
