Inconsistent conmection

Starting over the weekend there has been times where the internet will go down for up to 20 minutes at a time. I was sent a new router by Cox and it has been happening since then. I am unsure if it is because of the new router or if it’s a coincidence, but it is hindering my ability to work from hom

High packet loss and unstable internet since around Wednesday

I am in the Oklahoma City area. Is there other service reports from this area? I have been noticing that when I stream it cuts out frequently and while gaming I am experiencing regular packet loss. I ran a WINMTR tonight to amazon and 192.207.0.1, to amazon I was experiencing around 20% packet loss

High ping and packet loss on Gigablast (San Diego)

Adding my experiences here: I work from home even before all this current situation, so the reliability of the connection is important. Last few weeks I had really abysmal performance here in San Diego. I contacted the support through twitter, shared my tests and technician came by. He checked the c

Constant Lag

Ever since I was "upgraded" a few weeks ago I have experience non-stop lag and choppiness with gaming and work calls. It seems any two way service is just awful. When I am on google hangouts or zoom people's video feed and mics keep cutting in and out. All testing has been done and 3 techs have come

Serious IPv6 performance problems

I'm in the Pensacola/Destin area, and until about six weeks ago everything was wonderful. For IPv4, it still is. However, for IPv6 it definitely is not. It's not consistently bad however. I run some large transfers down to my PC (software updates and such) and many of them are fine and run at full s

Data Caps in Rhode Island

I have seen on various Reddit threads that in Rhode Island and Virginia Cox does not have data caps on internet usage due to local competitors offering unlimited data. In my neighborhood- Verizon offers unlimited data. However- only the in-store agent seemed to think I would have unlimited data when

unable to send email on ios device

Having difficulty sending emails from my cox account when overseas in Europe. When trying to send an email from my device, I immediately receive the message: "the sender address "xxx@cox.net" was rejected by the server. I had a read over Cox's article on IMAP server settings (https://www.cox.com/res

Persistent internet outage in Yukon, OK

Now going on over 2 weeks of persistent outages (intermittent for past few months). Technicians have replaced the modem, optimized the signal/frequency, etc. The last technician that came, who WAS helpful btw, just recommended I log the issues. Talked with 2 different people on the 'live chat' thing

Packet loss is back

Packet loss and T3 timeouts were occurring for about a week, then magically cleared up right before the tech arrived. The tech checked everything again and confirmed that everything from the demarc to my modem was working properly and that any problems were upstream from the demarc. So not much poin
