Internet outage
Why does my connection need to go through 5 devices to get to the Cox DNS server? This is presenting too many points of failure for my connection as well as slowing it down. Tracing route to cdns1.cox.net [68.105.28.11] over a maximum of 30 hops: 1 1 ms

Data usage meter totally wonky last two weeks
I have noticed over the last two weeks, my data usage has been ridiculously wrong. I generally use 1-3 GB a day, a little more on days that I stream. For the last couple weeks it has been saying that I am using only 100-200 MB a day (the traffic meter on my router says I am still using 1-3 GB a day)

cannot access pop email

new router/modem, necessary to call cox first?
I bought a netgear wireless modem/router (in hopes that my connection would be faster and range would be wider). Do I have to call a cox technician before I do anything as far as setting it up? Is it possible to just set it up by myself?
