What was included in this Cox TV software update?

I just received what I believe is the second software update on my Cox TV (Contour 1) cable box during the years I've had it.  I was a bit surprised Cox was updating this platform since it's only available to existing Cox TV customers and all of Cox is due to be transitioned in the next year.  The update appears to have been successful, and I haven't noticed any changes.   What features did this software update address?

After sending my initial email to Cox, I posted here.  I then received a reply from SharieL in which she said information about this update wasn't shared with your team.  I emailed back and asked if this was something she could ask about.  She said she would reach out and email me back when she knew more.  Instead of asking me to email you with questions about something you didn't have information for and couldn't answer anyway, why wouldn't you want to post information here about an infrequent software update if information became available?  There may not be a lot of us left, but other Cox TV customers would be interested too.  Providing customers with information about software updates is common for other companies.  Microsoft does it, but there are few, if any, similarities between Cox and Microsoft.

It comes as no surprise to me, but I didn't receive a reply from Cox with the information I requested.

Not to be tin hat because Arkham razor but did it happen about a week or two ago. Did you see problems on your Android phone, specifically Android 16 and specifically on Pixel? I think Google is quietly pushing new security tokens in the firmware for the dacs used in the phone. I wonder if it's based off of a a Unix kernal change that affected all OS and ecosystems. Like it even affected Apple in some way but they think that could have to do with Apple using Google as its homepage and that could be why Apple recently stopped doing that. Again, I could be connecting some dots that shouldn't be connected but I think some of them definitely do connect. I'm just talking about a greedy company that makes more money than God wants to make more money. That's not even really strange. It's just how they're doing it. That's weird. I have all kinds of data and I have run all kinds of tests, pen testing and social engineering and I'm ready to make this public heads up. This is definitely going to rock the boat. I suspect some things are going to get even weirder and crazier over the next few weeks. Hold on to your butts.

This was a cable TV software update for Cox TV (Contour 1) that was installed last night.  It didn't have anything to do with any kind of phone.  You may have posted in the wrong discussion.  BTW, I don't know where you were going with your first sentence, but I think you meant Occam's razor.

Hi, Curt. The software update changes are not available to us, or we'd be glad to pass them along to you. I'm glad to hear your TV is working well. Please reach out if there are any issues with it and thank you for your patience.
