purchased movies

My husband recently passed away.  I needed to change account into my name.  This involved closing his account, turning in the equipment, and opening a new account.  I was told, if I left account in husband's name, they could close my account and even charge me with fraud.  I asked about the movies we had purchased - I'm talking about close to 100 purchases!  The Cox specialist researched it and said there should be no problem.  All I would have to do is log into the Cox app.  Well, his login is not active, and of course the movies aren't under my login.  Am I just out hundreds of dollars in purchased movies?  At this point, the threat of fraud isn't as stressful!  Cox can fix cable problems remotely, but then makes life so difficult for someone who finds themself unexpectedly a new widow!!!

Hello. Purchased content can be accessed via the Contour app and/or at watchtv.cox.com

You will need the primary username and password for the account. Other logins will no longer function once the account has been closed.

The primary user was my husband.  All purchased movies were under his account.
