Peacock freezing
I am having a problem with my tv box freezing when ever I am watching Peacock streaming after certain ads come on such as State Farm. My tv goes blank if I am streaming a series on peacock and the only way to clear the problem is to reboot my cable box. Is any one else having this issue?

Hi David,
I apologize that you are having trouble with the Peacock app on the Contour box. I have not heard of this issue. One thing you can try is to opt out of tailored ads. Perhaps this will prevent the ad that is causing the issue. Instructions on how to do this can be found at https://www.cox.com/residential/support/opting-out-of-third-party-tailored-advertising.html
I also recommend clearing the cache on your cable box. You can do this by pressing the contour button on your remote to access the menu. Select the gear-shaped Icon on the far right. Scroll down and select privacy. Scroll down and select 'Locally stored data' and then finally select the OK option to clear the data. This will log you out of most apps on the cable box, so you will need to sign back in to each app.
