HDMI Splitter - Different Channels on 2 TV's?

Hi - I'm trying to hook up 2 TV's in 1 room with the same cable box. Does anyone know, if I purchase an HDMI cable splitter, will I be able to watch 2 different channels on both TV's? Are there any settings that can make this possible?

This is ideally for football season :).
