Contour

I was told by Cox that I needed to upgrade my cable boxes which were working fine.  We were given the Contour boxes and they have been nothing but trouble.  At least 2 or 3 times a day we have to reboot the boxes.  When we try to watch Netflix after about 20 minutes the television shuts down. It’s very frustrating.

Why were you told you needed to upgrade your cable boxes?  Was it optional?  Did they suggest you update or tell you that you had to update?  What did you have before?  How long did you have the previous cable boxes?
