Constant Outages

It seems that practically every day there’s some kind of outage. We can’t seem to watch a single show or movie all the way through without the cable and internet going out. Today it rebooted our box then gave us a message saying to tighten our cable connections. Like I loosened them while watching tv?  The service lately has been horrible and not worth what I pay Cox for every month. Definitely looking into alternatives because reliability is terrible.

Outage again tonight!  What does it take to be able to watch an entire movie all the way through without losing service?

Basically other services, cox has been terrible bc they cry about the weather or a bug crawling on the floor it’s just stupid on how they respond , it’s just better to either pay more for more of a reliable service or less in more of a lesser known service like T-Mobile or Verizon

I understand where you're coming from. Cox will credit accounts for outages as we don't believe customers should have to pay for services their not receiving. It's important to know that when we credit accounts, we request sensitive information. We're unable to do that on this platform as there is no private messenger here. If the credits are only 2 bucks for 85 bucks monthly charge that’s kinda stupid so you gonna give out penny’s as credits instead of full coverage credit

edrocker, since Cox bills by the day, we also credit by the day for outages.
