Timeline (2nd Post) for Docsis 3.1 eMTA modem?
(Repeated Question - Cox apparently doesn't want to say it's a marketing scheme dreamed up by the execs.)
I currently receive phone service through an eMTA modem. I have recently decided to upgrade my modem to a docsis 3.1 modem. However, there are not any docsis 3.1 eMTA modems on the Cox approved modems list for lower tiers. Is there a timeline to the availability of a docsis 3.1 eMTA modem, specifically the ARRIS Touchstone TM3402 eMTA, to the Cox approved modems list FOR LOWER PRICE TIERS THAN GIGABLAST?

We are in the process of migrating all Cox Digital Telphone customers to the Cox Voice platform. It does not appear that your area has been upgraded to the new platform. Once the upgrade is complete the Technicolor GCM4141 (D3.1 Panoramic WiFi modem) provides both Internet (any package) and Cox Voice service for a monthly rental fee. You will receive notification on your bill of when your phone service will migrate to the new telephone platform.
