Help with phone installation
I have pana WiFi Arris TG1682 which connects to my cable line via a two way splitter shared with my TV. How do I install my phone modem now? Or do I not need the phone modem - can I just plug my Cox phone into the Arris TG1682? Do I need a 3 way splitter? Help.

You have the Arris TG1682 and another telephone modem...or did I misread your post?
You can also connect the Tel-1 port of the Arris TG1682 directly to a wall jack so all landline telephones in your house have service.
