Verify MoCa/POE filter

I want to set up moca Ethernet to avoid adding holes and running cables through my rent. I want to verify that there is a POE filter for security purposes but I can’t find/don’t have access to the POE in my condo/townhouse. How can I check or verify? The customer service rep over the phone didn’t seem to understand the question.

Hi mvolsen8, the moca setting is disabled on your modem.  Customers are able to change the setting on the modem into bridge mode and connect a standalone router to the modem.  I regret we have no way of knowing were the POE is.  We could schedule a technician to come out to confirm.  Feel free to reach out to us via Facebook or X if you would like to secure a time frame.
