Unknown iPhone 14 with changing MAC addresss

Hi All! Throughout last week and this week, I have noticed that an unknown iPhone 14 has been joining my Cox network. Each time it re-joined the network, the MAC address changes. Is this a feature of the free Cox Wifi for Cox customer or is it a bug? How can the device be prevented from joining my network?

This device is not owned by members of my family.

Thanks

Hi, there. Any iPhone that connects to your network would have to have the wireless credentials. While there is a broadcasting network for roaming customers with either "Coxwifi" (or CableWifi) as its' SSID, any MAC ID using that would not be visible to you. I might suggest changing your wireless credentials for your router as a preventative and resetting the equipment afterwards. -Chris

By chance, do you own an iPhone?  I suspect this is your device randomizing it's MAC address for security purposes as perceived by Apple.  FYI, Android does this too and it's equally annoying.
