Turn off MAC filtering?
Just had a Cox CGM4981 installed a few weeks ago. Printer won't connect, says printer MAC may be filtered. Seen several posts about issue, but no help. Can I turn off MAC filtering? No info from Cox on how to access this setting for turning off, or for adding to a "whitelist". Can anyone help?

Hi GatewayUser1,
I'm sorry to hear you’re having trouble connecting your printer. I checked the Panoramic WiFi app, and I regret that it doesn’t have MAC Filtering settings. The best solution is to turn off Advanced Security. If that doesn't work, you can perform a factory reset. To factory reset the CGM4981, press and hold the WPS button on the back of the device for 60 seconds. All customized settings will be lost, and the device will revert to factory defaults, removing any settings that might block your printer. If this doesn’t solve your problem, we recommend contacting our experts through Cox Complete Care for further assistance. Cox Complete Care costs $10 per month with a three-month minimum commitment. It offers advanced technical support and education for applications, software packages, and devices, including basic device or system setup, enablement, configuration, device-to-device connectivity, synchronization, subsequent on-demand troubleshooting, and customer education.
