This Internet Service is the Absolute Worst!

I can’t stand Cox. Their service and support are the worst. My internet goes down for ~6 hours at a time multiple times a week, and the last couple of times I contacted them, they said they wouldn’t do anything about it because I have their StayConnect device, which DOES NOT WORK well and is something I pay for monthly. 

Terrible company and terrible service/support. If you see this, jump ship ASAP if you can. I’m personally counting the days until I have another option.

I’m not going to bother. The last time I did this, your support group placed the blame squarely on me and said, “you have StayConnect, which kept you online!” while not acknowledging that the data speeds were NOT acceptable. Your company is horrible.

I appreciate your kindness. I was treated very rudely last time I called and it was a waste of my time. Please let your superiors know that they lost a customer because of their poor attitude.

I plan to switch providers in about 7 months,my subdivision is letting another provider to put new underground service in. I pay for up to 500 MBPS,I ran various speed checks over three days. I ran 300 speed check runs got an average of just over 325MBPS. COX’S SUCKS.

So happy for you! They’re installing Google Fiber in my area and I cannot wait to switch.

It’s very upsetting that I company I’ve given money to for 20+ years has absolutely no loyalty to its customers.

@skinnymoe007This is the new provider. THIS IS THE PROVIDER GETTING READY TO LAY THERE FIBER OPTIC CABLE IN MY SUBDIVISION SO IT WON’T BE LONG NOW COX’S.

@skinnymoe007​ God I’m so jealous. I moved to North San Diego after living in the first Google Fiber city and it’s been awful having Cox with a total monopoly here. They can’t even give me a ballpark year of when I’ll get fiber to the home vs. this ancient DOCSIS 3.1 that only pushes 100mbps up at best
