Spotty internet 85022 area

Just moved into this neighborhood near 7th st and the 101 and I've had nothing but spotty internet.  I find it odd that I can run the cox speed test all day but the second I use it for something else it drops off.

Not really much for conspiracy, it's just an odd thing that I noticed.  Is there a reason this would happen?
