Spectrum no longer provides new email accounts for residential customers. Cox no longer had email service for any customers. Cox's email service was transitioned to Yahoo Mail in early 2025. If you have a @cox.net account, it's been serviced by Yahoo Mail for at least 18 months. If you use some other email service that's transitioning to Spectrum, it might be legitimate. Otherwise, I'd advise against clicking the button.
