Spam hitting like never before in my Cox email for the past month in 2018

I have used Cox email ever since 2002 and had absolutely no problem with receiving spam until very recently. Now, I'm getting 3 or more spam emails every day. I want to nip this in the bud before it gets worse. I can't comprehend how for 16 years was perfection, and now this. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. I haven't changed anything that would personally cause this recent situation. (Chase)
