SERVICE DROPS EVERY FEW HOURS 06410

I am hard wired to my equipment.  Every few hours, the internet hiccups. It doesnt matter if I reset my equipment, it comes back a few minutes later when it wants. I'm mot going to deal with customer service making me run a power cycle and pinging my modem. It is not my equipment or connections. I am also not the only person with this problem. What gives?
