Pensacola Florida, no communication from our supposed communication services provider. Post hurricane

It is five days past the storm and Spectrum has yet to rise from the dead for majority of customers in Escambia County.

What is going on to cause such a blatant failure to provide service with Spectrum? I don't expect an exact time of restoration but I have travelled the southern end of the county and seen only a single Spectrum truck. Is something going on to make them unable to work on the lines?

Is it power being out at a network center? If so can we get information as to where it's located so we can keep up with the news for that neighborhood?

You're going to want the bill paid at the end of the month after all, but at this point it is Spectrum failing to provide service or communication about said service, which could impact the ability of a large cluster of customers to be able to pay those bills unless you intend to waive them.

And no i will not go speak to your AI in the chat because it refuses to let us speak to agents about the outage.

Here you all are again offering a canned, generic response directing us elsewhere

@AceGeres Since these forums are for Cox/Spectrum customers to assist one another with technical issues, your post has nothing to do with the purpose of these forums. There was a nasty storm, things have been damaged, and there are times that Cox/Spectrum has to wait for OTHER services to make their repairs before they can make their own repairs. Get a grip, use your cell phone.

No information at all as far as the length of outage or even if they’re working on it. After 5 days!  All my neighbors have ATT and it’s been working the whole time.  Guess that’s helping make my decision…

That's how I feel. AT&T sounds awful cushy compared to Spectrum now. Especially since Spectrum doesn't seem to want to run fiber if your neighborhood ain't richy types.

I've talked to 2 different reps on chat and received no information of value as well. This is absolutely unacceptable customer service. It's been days with NO COMMUNICATION about our service outage at all. I already have power back and am still receiving status updates from FPL!!!! Do better Spectrum.
