Parental Controls a sham?
What exactly is the point of them? Turned them on, assigned device, followed all directions. Typed in naughty site and viola, easy access. So what are the parental controls supposed to be blocking, if not adult sites? And why are they advertising them if they do not do anything.

I understand your concern regarding Parental Controls. Enabling these controls decreases the chance of viewing unsuitable content. Devices with Parental Controls enabled that try to access such content are redirected to a blocked page once connected to your WiFi. When activated, Parental Controls instantly block inappropriate material. However, content accessed before enabling controls may be cached and may take up to 24 hours to be blocked.
Parental Controls only limit access to unsuitable content on devices connected to your WiFi network. While they aim to block inappropriate sites and apps, they do not ensure complete blocking of all such content.
