No TOR
I have a couple of teenagers that think they're their old man doesn't have any idea what TOR is. Their old man doesn't think they realize how much trouble they can get into screwing around there. Is there any way I can block TOR traffic using my standard equipment? I'd hate to have to put my router and a firewall in a locked cabinet so that they can't bypass what I'm trying to protect them from. Any ideas?

You can try to block outbound TCP ports 9001 and 9030, which are commonly used by Tor relays. If they configure Tor to use bridges however, all you can try to do is configure your router to block traffic that disguises itself as encrypted web browsing. If they configure a VPN, all bets are off, there is no way to block the traffic.
I am trained in AIS security, that's the best you will be able to do.
