Link Aggregation/ packet loss

So on my home network, cox offers gigabit internet speeds at 940mbps/35mbps, for the most part, "speed tests" give me these results, but I still experience packet loss and jitter that majorly effect my gaming experience. My cox claims to be working on it.
Here's my question. If I switch to a lower package (500/15 for example), and i pay for a 2nd ip address at the same speed, and I execute link aggregation between my modem and my router (both support it) would it improve quality or reduce packet loss and jitter at all?
