Higher Service Charges

I am not sure if anyone else has the same problem. My internet service prices went almost 180% time higher in the past 4 years and my internet speed went down by 150% times. While, across the country, people are getting higher internet speed and lower price.

I am paying $83.33 for 100 MBPS. People are getting gigabyte for a little higher price across the country. 

Right now there is Cox monopoly for a high-speed internet provider. I swear that as soon as I move from here or there is any other high-speed provider (t-mobile or Verizon) start providing high-speed internet I will switch the service, even I have to pay a higher price. I am done with monopoly. Last year, the customer service agent told me that there is no service provider in the area and I am stuck with Cox, so I must pay higher prices. 

Let me know how many of you are forced to pay high internet prices.
