CoxWifi is acting... strange.
I could use some advice. So, for awhile I've been living at my home CoxWifi the hotspot *[Not the home internet] doesn't really wanna connect all of sudden, and one day as I was using it to stream LIVE on my Xbox One X, it suddenly disconnected and never allowed me to connect to it again. It's not even, it allows me to connect and prompts me to sign into the network, more like; I get either "Couldn't Find IP address or Connection failed"
I called Cox and they told me it's because my service plan doesn't include being able to connect to Hotspots, even through it STILL DOES on their website in addition; when I leave or even head upstairs to my neighbor's home, who also has CoxWifi it suddenly will connect. Hell even sometimes on my Xbox One X it will work & connect but then stop all together.
Why does this keep happening? This is very annoying. If it's because of how that agent says, then why does it still work outside of my home, particularly my room? I would love to know.
And if I can't connect to it or fix it in any shape or form, can someone show me step by step to remove my 3 devices from the CoxWifi database or something? Thanks! I'd prefer for it to not remember my devices for two years if it's not gonna work.

My first question would be why are you wanting to do this on the public wifi? If you have access to the public wifi that suggests you also have a proper home Internet connection which would be much better suited for this task.
