Cox's transit provider (AS1299 / Arelion) has daily congestion, latency, and packet loss between Dallas and Phoenix.

Here is a traceroute from OVH DC in Paris. Notice that from hop 12 (Dallas) to hop 13 (Phoenix). Latency is increased by 130ms. This has been happening for the past several days around 1500 MST (-0700 UTC) on Jan 29. And 1800 MST today. THis persists for several hours as congestion increases during peak hours for this region. Cox ASxxxx NOC needs to get sorted with its transit provider AS1299.

Why did the moderators remove Cox's ASN from my post and replace it with XXXX? This is public information. Its in every bgp speaking router on the internet and in all public IRR and whois databases.
