Can Panoramic modem/router support class A (255.0.0.0) network ?

So I'd like to have a class A network - Why - what does it matter why WHY NOT

I have multiple device wit multiple family members so if I use month and day in the IP I assign I know who's who in the zoo

So router set to 10.0.0.1 DHCP set to 10.1.1.1 - 10.255.255.254 with a mask of 255.0.0.0

then I use 10.(month).(Day).x

The router re-boots DHCP is assign but I can not HTTP to the router ???
