Browser showing myemail.cox.net/appsuite/ is not a secure website plus I am being redirected to another cox url.

When I pull up the cox email login page why is it redirected from myemail.cox.net/.../ to this: www.cox.com/.../mail.html

Also why does my browser (firefox) warn me that myemail.cox.net/appsuite/ is not a secure website and that it is using cross-site cookies?
