Is this a real cox number
855-238-1598 called asking for my pin code and stuff and i gave it to them but realized it seemed kind of weird i feel bad for hanging up on the lady but idk if it was a scam or not
i changed my pin code and password already but theyve called me a few times this week and im just wondering if this is a scammer or an actual representative

There may be some reasons why a representative or department would attempt to reach out to an account holder and request authentication for account security. It sounds like you did the right thing after feeling the call was potentially a scam. Hanging up and changing your PIN or answer to the security question after the call was very smart of you. It's not clear if the call was legit just going off of the phone number on your caller ID.
