Zoom 5341J - blinking blue upstream (US) light

Does anyone know the reason for this? It just started happening over the last few days. Not knowing what causes it i of course went to google and it seems like it's either some sort of upstream issue that is only resolvable on Cox's side OR if other people are correct some sort of bug on that modem. Any thoughts on this or advice on what to do?
