Wifi Issue

I will have full strength wifi signal no matter how far or close I am to the router but it WILL NOT stay connected! Whether it's my phone or laptop, the wifi in this house continues to disable/disconnect itself on and off. My signal remains active and strong but, again, it keeps disconnecting. What can I do to resolve this issue?
