When will speed increase Las Vegas take effect
Century Link has been bragging about their higher speeds and now Cox has made a big splash and said they are doubling speeds.
I read this http://www.multichannel.com/news/technology/cox-kicks-speed-upgrades/382578
and it says,
"A Cox spokeswoman said the following markets will see the speed increase this month: Omaha; Neb.; Sun Valley, Idaho; Kansas; Arkansas; Arizona; and Las Vegas. The MSO plans to introduce the upgrade across all markets by the end of 2014.."
That article was dated in July. I am on preferred and get nowhere near the promised up to 25. I have had techs out here, wrote on the forums and still get T3 timeouts. Everyone was real nice but it's obvious that no one is really going to address and resolve the problem so I was hoping that with the promised double speeds that maybe I'd be able to get some faster speeds but I have not seen an increase.
The article above said Las Vegas would be all set by the end of July but that has not happened. When do you anticipate Las Vegas will see increased speeds?
Also, does Cox have plans to offer wifi hotspots in Las Vegas. I've checked the locator and it says there are none.
Thanks,
