RE: Showtime Anytime not supported by Cox? Why not ?

The fact that StephanieA can lock a forum because she doesn't like what CUSTOMERS are complaining about is abuse in my opinion. UNLOCK this forum so the customers can be heard.

At the end of the day, Showtime controls who gets the right to broadcast their copyrighted material. For example, after Starz and Netflix split, Starz’s new app called Starz Play was originally released only to Cox Communication customers.

When trying to get broadcast rights to add new channels or services, both parties agree to keep the negotiations confidential—even from employees—until the legal team has secured a contract with the network. Like you, the Cox Social Media Team is eagerly awaiting more news. As with all negotiations, Cox tries to reach a fair agreement that protects the value of cable television for our customers.  Our programming teams and content managers are notified every time a customer requests Showtime Anytime, so please know your voice—and the voices of many others—are being heard. We will share any new information as soon as we receive updates.

The purpose of the Cox TV Support Forum is to allow customers to discuss technical topics related to Cox Cable TV with other customers. Since this thread is not on-topic, I've decide to lock it.
