RE: harassing phone calls from telemarketers and spammers
Just trying to reply and ended up here. Cox needs to allow the Nomorerobo system, which is free and available on many other Cable phone companies.

One thing I'd suggest for starters if you haven't done so already is to visit http://www.donotcall.gov and register your phone number with them. It may take a month or more to update however once complete telemarketers that have not done business with you in the last 6 months are not allowed to call you at that point.
