pc health check and Mcafee AV

why cant cox pc health check see that McAfee security center is running AV and firewall? why do companys offer software that is fairly useless and buggy? why is the sky blue? how soon will it be before someone will say its my fault and I need reconfigure some aspect of my computer so that the buggy software will work.? when will I stop being so cynical????
