Payment Time Stamp

I just made a payment (which was processed successfully) and the time stamp said 1:30 PDT.  I'm in PDT and it is only 10:30.  I don't think I am living in the future so why has my payment been accepted three hours in the future.  I verified that it was NOT Eastern time . . . it said Pacific (P).  Not sure why this bothers me, but it does.
