On Demand/Digital Channels Disappear Every Wednesday
For the past few months I have been having problems with On Demand and my higher digital channels. They gave me a new cable box and then figured out it was a signal issue with the pole. They found the problem pole about a month ago and said everything would be fine.
Now every Wednesday for the past three weeks, I lose my On Demand and the higher digital channels. I have to unplug my cable box and wait a few minutes and plug it back in and then every thing works again. It is like clockwork. Every Wednesday, I have to reset it.
I am hesitant to have Cox mess with it because they have crashed my cable twice in the past 3 months leaving me without cable and losing all of my DVR shows but it is frustrating to pay for something and have it not working. Now, however, unplugging it no longer works. My higher digital channels show up but after a few seconds of cutting in and out (and only after I unplugged it). On Demand is still not working and now the blinking light that they said indicated guide loading and would disappear after a few minutes will not stop blinking.
